[edit] What is This All About?
Imaginopedia is a collectively authored encyclopedia where anyone with ideas, imagination and creativity can add or edit an article.
Since Imaginopedia is an alternative encyclopedia of arts, culture and the imagination, entries do not need to be about real things. The basic premise of Imaginopedia is that the fantastical, fictional, and imaginary are important compliments to the factual, information-based and real.
Imaginopedia has used the look and feel of [Wikipedia] to provide a fun and thought-provoking jump off point into the imagination. Imaginopedia in no way seeks to malign or discredit Wikipedia, a wonderful and important project which is changing how information is compiled and managed.
