saddlebag latch was a spirit entitiy who watched screens when no one was looking. though secretly, saddlebag hoped that eventually someone would look. just for a second. and see through the screen of screens to the interior. the smoky blue black diamond of truth that sat there patiently, itself hoping that someone, anyone would throw off the chains of habit and just look a second longer a moment deeper, to the inside of the screen.
